Is Outlook Express configured to display only unread messages?

If messages you have already read seem to be missing from a folder in Outlook Express, you might need to configure that folder not to hide messages after you read them.

To show all messages

  1. Click the folder in which you are experiencing the problem.
  2. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Show All Messages.
  3. If more than one folder has the problem, repeat steps 1 and 2 for each affected folder.

Can you see all of your messages now?
